Under the Federation Cynologique Internationale and the Clube Português de Canicultura regulations, open to dogs of every officialy recognized breed and variety, registered in a studbook or appendix to the studbook (waiting list) recognized by the FCI.

É expressamente proibida a venda de animais no recinto da exposição.
Em todos os casos não mencionados no programa, vigora o estabelecido no Regulamento de Exposições Caninas e Concursos de Beleza.

Inspecção Médico-Veterinária na admissão para os exemplares previamente sorteados e itinerante durante a exposição.
A inspecção veterinária dos exemplares é itinerante e processa-se de forma aleatória.
É obrigatória a apresentação de boletim sanitário ou prova da vacinação anti-rábica dentro do prazo de validade conforme determinado anualmente pela DGV, devendo comprovar também possuir as vacinações contra as principais doenças infecto-contagiosas da espécie efectuadas há mais de oito dias.
"É obrigatória a identificação por método electrónico através da aplicação subcutânea de uma cápsula (microchip) no centro da face lateral esquerda do pescoço." (Dec.-Lei n.º 313/2003, 17 de Dezembro, Art.º 3.º)
Veterinary inspection at dogs' admission for previously randomly drawn exhibitors and itinerant inspection during the show.
The veterinary inspection is itinerant and is processed in a random fashion.
In Portugal there are no quarantine rules for dogs arriving from abroad or from any Community State. However, a PET PASSPORT for dogs from EU members or a HEALTH CERTIFICATE for dogs from non EU countries, with an anti-rabies Vaccination Certificate is required and the vaccination should have been performed, within the year before the date of show. Vaccination against the main dog diseases must have been made more than eight days before the show.
Dogs coming from abroad must be identified either electronically or by tatto according to the legislation of the country of origin.
Dangerous or potentially dangerous dogs (American Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Rottweiller, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Tosa) that enter the portuguese territory for a period of time of less than 4 months, must have proof of registration on the country of origin and subscribe a statement of responsability in a form supplied by the portuguese veterinary authority (DGV).
Os exemplares das raças reconhecidas pelo The Kennel Club inscritos na 117.ª Exposição Canina Internacional de Lisboa que obtenham o 1.º Excelente em Classe de Juniores ou o CACIB, ficam qualificados para se inscreverem na Crufts 2012.
The dogs and bitches of The Kennel Club recognized breeds entered at the 117th Lisbon International Dog Show that are awarded Excelent 1st in Junior Class or the CACIB, will be qualified to enter Crufts 2012.
Durante as Exposições Caninas Internacionais de Lisboa, realizar-se-ão exames oftalmológicos. O exame oftalmológico é completo e destina-se a detectar a presença de alterações oculares que sejam consideradas congénitas e/ou hereditárias. Será entregue um certificado ECVO (European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists), que é reconhecido em todos os países europeus e nos Estados Unidos da América.
O preço será de € 35 por exemplar examinado, o qual deverá estar convenientemente identificado (cópia do pedigree e identificação electrónica).
Durante as Exposições Caninas Internacionais de Lisboa, realizar-se-ão exames oftalmológicos. O exame oftalmológico é completo e destina-se a detectar a presença de alterações oculares que sejam consideradas congénitas e/ou hereditárias. No relvado principal do Hipódromo existe um sistema subterrâneo de rega automática com tubagem plástica facilmente perfurável, pelo que É EXPRESSAMENTE PROIBIDO MONTAR TENDAS, TOLDOS OU CHAPÉUS-DE-SOL NO INTERIOR DO CAMPO.
Existem 1000 m2 de tendas para uso dos expositores que deverão ser partilhadas por todos de forma justa e ordenada.
É PROIBIDO RESERVAR ESPAÇOS.
É PROIBIDO MANTER OS ESPAÇOS MONTADOS ENTRE EXPOSIÇÕES, SENDO OBRIGATÓRIO DESMONTAR ATÉ AO FINAL DE SÁBADO.
Os expositores são responsáveis pela recolha dos dejetos dos seus animais no recinto da exposição.
É expressamente proibido arrumar caixas e mesas junto aos ringues.
In the main area of the hippodrome there are underground plastic pipelines of the automatic water system which are easily perforated, so IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO MOUNT TENTS OR UMBRELLAS IN THE GRASS AREAS.
There will be 1000 m2 of tents for the use of exhibitors. We request that you share them in an equal and orderly manner.
RESERVING PLACES IS FORBIDDEN.

The exhibitors are responsible for collecting the droppings of their animals on the show ground.
